Presidencia del Consejo. El(la) Ministro(a) de Igualdad y Equidad o su delegado(a), presidirá el Consejo Nacional de Personas Mayores; o quien haga sus veces. La representación del Consejo Nacional de Personas Mayores en las instancias en que esté prevista su participación será ejercida por su presidente. En caso de ausencia o impedimento, la representación recaerá en quien sea designado de manera expresa para tal efecto por el Consejo.
