Art. 16. Las asignaciones pagaderas por el Monte Pio Militar son inembargables è inajenables en ningún caso la existencia y condiciones de los agraciados se comprobarán en los mismos términos que para otro pensionado cualquiera.

Si los productos del Monte Pio Militar no alcanzaran à cubrir todas las asignaciones à su cargo, se pagarán de preferencias las de las familias de militares muertos en servicio activo, prorrateando los fondos si fuere preciso.
