Podrá ejercer la profesión de Agente Colocador de Seguros todo ciudadano colombiano o extranjero residente en el país por más de un año, que sea mayor de edad, que esté inscrito en el registro de la Superintendencia Bancaria y que posea el certificado expedido por ésta, el que constituye el título que acredita la personería del Agente.
