Articulo 17. La Sección de Asistencia Indigena de la División de Extensión Agropecuaria del Ministerio de Agricultura se traslada al Ministerio de Gobierno con la categoría de División y tendrá la denominación de División de Asuntos Indigenas. En consecuencia, corresponde al Ministerio de Gobierno, por intermedio de la División de asuntos Indigenas, el ejercicio de las funciones adscritas al Ministerio de Agricultura por la Ley 81 de 1958 y demás disposiciones legales sobre indigenas.
