Art. 1º Los cargos del orden judicial y los del Ministerio Público no son acumulables, y son incompatibles con el ejercicio de cualquiera otro cargo retribuido. Dichos cargos son igualmente incompatibles con toda participación en el ejercicio de la abogacía. Pero los empleados del Ministerio Público pueden ser nombrados catedráticos en los establecimientos de Instrucción Pública.
