Son funciones de los Presidentes de Sala:

1º Presidir la Sala respectiva y dirigir los debates de acuerdo con el reglamento.

2º Hacer el repartimiento de los negocios.

3º Hacer el sorteo de los Conjueces respectivos.

4º Cuidar de que los Magistrados que forman la Sala, el secretario y demás subalternos de ella, desempeñen cumplidamente sus funciones, amonestar privadamente a los que se muestren remisos en el cumplimiento de sus deberes, y poner en conocimiento del Presidente de la Corte las faltas de los Magistrados y subalternos cuando consideren que necesitan algún correctivo disciplinario; y

5º Visitar mensualmente la Secretaria de la Sala y dictar las medidas convenientes para el mejor servicio de la oficina.
