° La incineración de los billetes deteriorados representativos de oro se hará con las formalidades indicadas en el artículo 8 del Decreto 1147 de 1916; pero antes de proceder a ella, la Junta de Conversión hará, en el libro de registro de la edición de los billetes, la anotación correspondiente, en la forma que se acuerde entre la Junta y el Ministerio del Tesoro; y en el acta de incineración se dejará constancia de que se ha dado cumplimiento a dicha formalidad, pudiendo las personas que deban suscribirla, hacer la verificación del caso, si los estiman conveniente.
