En caso de pérdida, por robo, extravío, siniestro o cualquier otra causa que afecte una colección o un arma, el coleccionista propietario deberá informar, por conducto de la asociación o directamente, a la autoridad militar en cuya jurisdicción se halle y adjuntara copia de la denuncia cuando a ella hubiera lugar. Tal información deberá tramitares a la Sección Control Comercio de Armas, Municiones y Explosivos del Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares.
