Artículo séptimo. El Departamento de Servicios Científicos estará a cargo de un Médico Jefe, especializado en tuberculosis, con amplia experiencia en la materia, y será nombrado por la Junta Directiva por mayoría de votos, para un periodo de dos años. Será el inmediato superior de las dependencias que constituyen el Departamento de Servicios Científicos; responderá ante el Director en lo concerniente a la buena marcha científica del Hospital, y lo reemplazará en las ausencias temporales.
