Objeto y alcance. El presente Capítulo tiene por objeto establecer el procedimiento para la expedición y actualización del Plan Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo, el cual será de obligatorio cumplimiento por parte de las entidades que integran el sistema nacional de gestión del riesgo de desastres, con el propósito de precisar en detalle las instancias que se deben considerar en la formulación, aprobación, adopción, ejecución, seguimiento y evaluación del Plan.
