El cargo de jurado es de forzosa aceptación. Las personas que no concurran a desempeñar las funciones de jurado de votación, se harán acreedoras a una multa de cinco mil pesos ($ 5.000.00) a favor de la Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil, esta sanción será impuesta por el respectivo Registrador Municipal.
