Cuando por consecuencia de la muerte de un colombiano en un país extranjero, sin haber otorgado testamento, hubiere de hacerse conocer el fallecimiento, el Cónsul respectivo publicará el aviso de la defunción en un periódico de la localidad, y lo mismo se hará por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores en uno de los periódicos de la capital de la República y del lugar del último domicilio que en el país hubiese tenido el fallecido.
