Art. 40. Siempre que ocurra daño en las máquinas, aparatos, .muebles, &ª. de una oficina telegráfica, el Inspector de la seccion examinará el motivo, i sí fuere causado por descuido o neglijencia, o intencional del telegrafista, hará la estimacion del daño i dará cuenta a la Direccion jeneral para que haga efectiva la responsabilidad.
