Artículo cuarto. Fuera de los casos en que, de acuerdo con los estatutos de las Cajas seccionales, los Gerentes de ésta pueden ser destituidos por el Consejo Directivo del Instituto a petición de las Juntas Directivas, también podrán serlo sin mediar tal petición cuando a juicio, del Consejo Directivo del Instituto, existan motivos que justifiques la destitución. En estos casos, y en todos los demás en que falte en forma absoluta el Gerente de una Caja Seccional, el Gerente General del Instituto nombrará un Gerente interino mientras la respectiva Junta Directiva presenta le terna para nombramiento del titular.
