Valor de las multas. De acuerdo con la naturaleza y calificación de la falta, la autoridad sanitaria competente, mediante resolución motivada podrá imponer multas hasta por una suma equivalente a diez mil (10.000) salarios mínimos legales diarios al máximo valor vigente en el momento de dictarse la respectiva resolución, a los responsables por la infracción de las normas sanitarias.
