Si el Gobierno lo solicitare, el Banco de la República deberá aumentar su capital para restablecer en todo o en parte la proporción de acciones que hoy posee el Estado. En tal evento, dichas acciones se venderán a la Nación por su valor en los libros, en el momento de la emisión de ellas, y tendrán todos los derechos de las acciones restantes en cuanto a dividendos.
