Origen. La Medalla Militar “Alumno Distinguido de la Escuela Naval de Suboficiales” fue creada en el artículo 187 del Decreto 1816 de 2007, para estimular y premiar al personal que haya sobresalido por sus méritos académicos, conducta y aptitud naval en su desempeño como alumnos de la Escuela Naval de Suboficiales.
