Funciones del laboratorio nacional de referencia del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, ICA. Conforme a las funciones y competencias establecidas en el Decreto 1840 de 1994, corresponde al ICA la organización de las actividades de referencia y contrarreferencia y control de calidad de los exámenes de laboratorio relacionados con las siguientes zoonosis que afectan la salud humana

a)

Rabia bovina;

b)

Encefalitis equina;

c)

Brucellosis;

d)

Leptospirosis;

e)

Tuberculosis animal;

f)

Salmonellosis aviar y porcina.
