La misión técnica a que se refiere el artículo 14 de esta Ley deberá preparar también, en colaboración con el Registrador Nacional, el proyecto de ley orgánica del Registro Civil en todo el país. En la elaboración de dicho proyecto se oirá, igualmente, el concepto del Director Nacional de Estadística, con el objeto de obtener que el Registro del Estado Civil suministre una base adecuada para la confección de las estadísticas demográficas.
