° La condecoración consistirá en una medalla en crisocal dorado de siete (7) centímetros de diámetro, con sobrepuesto dorado redondo de dos (2) centímetros, y sistema fotograbado del logotipo del DANE. Adicionalmente, una banda de diez (10) centímetros con una cinta en color magenta, institucional del DANE y la réplica correspondiente de la medalla.
