El Instituto Colombiano de Seguros Sociales podrá asumir directamente las funciones de Caja Seccional de Cundinamarca, mientras sólo se trate de cubrir el riesgo de enfermedad-maternidad en la ciudad de Bogotá, y siempre que los asegurados no excedan de la mitad de la población trabajadora al servicio de empresas privadas de la capital de la República.
