SECCION DE PROMOCION Y VENTAS. Son funciones de la Sección de Promoción y Ventas las siguientes

Efectuar la distribución y venta de las publicaciones editadas en el Departamento.

Realizar estudios de costos y precios de las publicaciones y servicios ofrecidos por el DANE.

Efectuar la promoción de las publicaciones que produce el Departamento.

Adelantar investigaciones tendientes a determinar nuevos mercados y puntos de venta para la información y servicios que presta el DANE.

Presentar al Jefe de la División de Divulgación los informes que le sean solicitados sobre el desarrollo de sus funciones.

Las demás que le sean asignadas y correspondan a la naturaleza de la Sección.
