El órgano que desee dar por terminado un contrato de cuenta autorizada deberá remitir a la Dirección del Tesoro Nacional del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, la solicitud correspondiente debidamente diligenciada y suscrita por el ordenador del gasto y el tesorero o pagador respectivo. El contrato de cuenta se dará por terminado dentro del mes siguiente a la fecha en que la Dirección del Tesoro Nacional autorice su terminación.
