Para dar cumplimiento al Servicio Social Obligatorio, el Gobierno Nacional determinará en forma gradual, a propuesta del Consejo Nacional Coordinador del Servicio Social Obligatorio y de acuerdo con las prioridades, las profesiones u oficios que deben cumplirlo, su duración y la clase de establecimientos en los cuales ha de prestarse.
