La presente ley tiene por objeto actualizar la normatividad en materia de protección de la competencia para adecuarla a las condiciones actuales de los mercados, facilitar a los usuarios su adecuado seguimiento y optimizar las herramientas con que cuentan las autoridades nacionales para el cumplimiento del deber constitucional de proteger la libre competencia económica en el territorio nacional.
