El Gobierno Nacional procederá a comprar, hasta por la suma de tres mil pesos ($3.000), obras escogidas de tan insigne autor, previo avaluó por peritos y con la intervención de la Dirección de Bellas Artes creada por la Ley 12 de 1934 . Estas obras se destinaran a los Museos de Bellas Artes de Bogotá y Medellín.
