Los comandantes de departamento de policía y de policía metropolitana, distrito y estación resolverán todos los asuntos que dentro de su jurisdicción competan a la policía y serán autónomos para, distribuir los servicios y el personal, de acuerdo con los requerimientos de Ia autoridad civil.
