En el caso de la importación de productos agropecuarios, sujetos a la aplicación del Sistema Andino de Franjas de Precios previsto en la Decisión 371 de la Comisión del Acuerdo de Cartagena y en el Decreto 547 del 31 de marzo de 1995, y sus normas complementarias, el índice de que trata el artículo anterior, se aplicará exclusivamente sobre el arancel fijo. En consecuencia, el arancel variable no será objeto de ninguna preferencia arancelaria.
