Las unidades de almacenes, proveedurías de propósito, suministros o similares que funciones o se creen en los organismos a que se refiere el presente Decreto tendrán como funciones únicas las de depósito, custodia distribución interna de los bienes que se adquieran por dichos organismos al Instituto y las de adquirir directamente aquellos bienes que conforme a las disposiciones de este Decreto se hallan sometidos a un régimen especial. Además, adelantarán con el Instituto el estudio de actualización de los bienes para los fines previstos en el artículo 3º ordinal 1) del Decreto-ley 2370 de 1968.
