Para los efectos del permiso de que trata el artículo 724 del Código Civil, se entenderá por autoridad competente el respectivo funcionario de Policía del lugar, sin perjuicio de que la providencia que expida pueda ser apelada ante el Ministerio de la Economía Nacional dentro de los diez (10) días siguientes al de su notificación.
