ARTICULO 4

Podrán ser Miembros de las Naciones Unidas todos los demás Estados amantes de la paz que acepten las obligaciones consignadas en esta carta y que, a juicio de la Organización, estén capacitadas para cumplir dichas obligaciones, y se hallen dispuestos a hacerlo.

La admisión de tales estados como Miembros de las Naciones Unidas se efectuaran por decisión de la Asamblea General a recomendación del Consejo de Seguridad.
