A partir de la vigencia de la presente ley, fijase el tiempo mínimo de servicio para el ascenso de los Oficiales de las Fuerzas Militares y de la Policía Nacional, en los grados que a continuación se indican, así: Subteniente y Teniente de Corbeta, tres (3) años. Mayor y Capitán de Corbeta, cuatro (4) años.
