El Centro Jorge Eliécer Gaitán tendrá como organismo directivo una junta o consejo compuesto por:

El Presidente de la República o su delegado, el Ministro de Educación o su delegado, el Ministro de Obras Públicas o su delegado, el Alcalde Mayor de Bogotá o su delegado y tres representantes de la Fundación "Amigos del Centro Jorge Eliécer Gaitán" con sus respectivos suplentes.

Parágrafo

La junta será presidida por el Presidente de la República y en su ausencia por el Ministro de Educación.

También hará parte de la junta directiva con voz pero sin voto, el Director ad honorem del Centro. Será secretario de la junta el Subdirector Ejecutivo.
