Indemnización Por Muerte

ARTICULO 78. INDEMNIZACIÓN POR MUERTE. A la muerte de un cadete o alférez en actividades relacionadas con su preparación profesional o del servicio, sus beneficiarios, en el orden determinado en el artículo 173 del Decreto 1212 de 1990 o normas que lo modifiquen o adicionen, tendrán derecho a que por la Policía Nacional se les pague una indemnización equivalente a doce (12) meses del sueldo básico correspondiente a un subteniente.

Parágrafo

Si la muerte ocurriere en actos meritorios del servicio, la indemnización se pagará doble.
