La presente ley tiene por objeto establecer mecanismos para otorgar la certificación de hospitales universitarios a las instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud por medio de un proceso de acreditación cumplido en plazos específicos, buscando así garantizar la formación en servicios de salud con criterios de calidad.
