Si la petición de aviso de pago no fuere hecha en el momento de la emisión del giro, el remitente podrá hacerla posteriormente, pero dentro del plazo de un año a partir del día siguiente al de la expedición y previo pago de un derecho de diez y seis centavos ($ 0-16) en estampillas postales. Tales peticiones se transmitirán a las oficinas pagadoras exclusivamente por el correo y por medio de una nota a la cual se adherirán las estampillas mencionadas. CAPITULO VII Pago de giros.
