Al tener noticia de la próxima llegada de un Diplomático acreditado cerca del Gobierno de Colombia, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores hará las gestiones necesarias para que el Comandante del puerto de arribo lo salude en nombre del Gobierno, y le dispense las atenciones de uso, de acuerdo con su categoría. Se le otorgarán las cortesías de costumbre en cuanto a exención del registro del equipaje y el pago de derechos.
