ARTICULO 4.2.0.6.1 .- PRERROGATIVAS DEL FONDO. Para el conveniente y eficaz logro de sus objetivos, el Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras gozará de las siguientes prerrogativas

Para todos los efectos tributarios, el Fondo será considerado como entidad sin ánimo de lucro;

Exención de impuesto de timbre, registro y anotación e impuestos nacionales, diferentes del impuesto sobre las ventas, según lo establece el artículo 482 del decreto 624 de 1989 Estatuto Tributarios, no cedidos a entidades territoriales, y

Exención de inversiones forzosas.
