º . El artículo 49 del Decreto 1052 de 1998 quedará así: " Artículo 49. No aceptación del nombramiento. Se entiende que el particular renuncia a su designación como Curador Urbano en los siguientes casos: 1 Cuando no acepte expresamente y por escrito la designación hecha por el alcalde Municipal o Distrital. 2. Por el transcurso de treinta (30) días contados a partir de la designación, o del vencimiento del período del Curador Urbano a quien debe reemplazar, según el caso, sin que tome posesión de su cargo."
