La misión de las Escuelas Normales Superiores es la de formar educadores de reconocida idoneidad ética, moral y pedagógica, con base en las reales necesidades de las comunidades, del desarrollo nacional y regional, de acuerdo con los avances del conocimiento, y atendiendo lo dispuesto en los artículos 104 y 109 de la Ley 115 de 1994.
