Duración. La medida de salvaguardia podrá adoptarse por un término no prorrogable de hasta tres años. La vigencia de la medida de salvaguardia se extinguirá si el producto es integrado al GATT de 1994, si ello tuviera lugar antes del vencimiento del término para el cual fue adoptada.
