Art. 6 .° El Representante o Senador que por declaración expresa ante la respectiva Cámara ó en receso de ella, ante el Ministro de Gobierno, haga renuncia del carácter de miembro del Congreso, perderá su puesto ipso facto, y el año adicional de incompatibilidades se contara desde la fecha de tal declaración.
