Los distribuidores minoristas podrán conformar de acuerdo con la Ley, asociaciones y federaciones, con el fin de ser oídos por el Gobierno, conforme al artículo 6o. de esta Ley, de hacer peticiones respetuosas a las autoridades, y de tecnificar sus establecimientos de servicio, así como el de mejorar el nivel de vida de sus asociados. En todo caso sus asociaciones serán sin ánimo de lucro y se regirán por los estatutos que aprueben las autoridades respectivas.
