Las utilidades líquidas del banco se distribuirán así: diez por ciento (10%) de ellas para fondos de reserva, hasta la formación de un acervo igual al capital social; cinco por ciento (5%) para el fondo de previsión. Del remanente se podrá repartir un dividendo hasta del diez por ciento (10%) anual sobre el capital pagado, y el excedente debe distribuirse por partes iguales entre el Tesoro Nacional y el Banco, pudiéndose distribuir la parte correspondiente a éste como dividendo adicional entre todos los accionistas.
