El Ministerio de Transporte en coordinación con el SENA, diseñará, desarrollará y promoverá la formación basada en competencias para conductores de servicio público de transporte terrestre automotor individual de pasajeros en vehículos taxi, con el fin de promover que este servicio se brinde con los mejores estándares de calidad y seguridad de los conductores y terceros.

Decreto 1047 de 2014 · por el cual se establecen normas para asegurar la afiliación al Sistema Integral de Seguridad Social de los conductores del servicio público de transporte terrestre automotor individual de pasajeros en vehículos taxi, se reglamentan algunos aspectos del servicio para su operatividad y se dictan otras disposiciones.
