Se entiende por viáticos extraordinarios los destinados a proporcionar manutención y alojamiento al trabajador privado u oficial o al empleado público que de manera ocasional o accidental presta servicios fuera de la ciudad o municipio, sede habitual de su trabajo. Se entiende por viáticos permanentes los destinados a proporcionar manutención y alojamiento al trabajador privado u oficial o al empleado público, que habitual y permanentemente, de conformidad con las disposiciones vigentes, presta servicios fuera de la ciudad o municipio, sede legal o contractual de su trabajo.
