Cuantía máxima del cupo individual. Ninguna de las cooperativas a que se refiere el presente decreto podrá realizar con una misma persona natural o jurídica, directa o indirectamente, operaciones activas de crédito, que conjunta o separadamente excedan del diez por ciento (10%) del patrimonio técnico de la entidad, si la única garantía de la operación es el patrimonio del deudor. Sin embargo, cuando las operaciones respectivas cuenten con garantías o seguridades admisibles suficientes, las operaciones de que trata el presente artículo pueden alcanzar hasta el veinte por ciento (20%) del patrimonio técnico de la entidad”.
