Art. 5° Conocerán los mismos Tribunales en segunda instancia de las causas civiles que se sigan contra individuos del clero secular o regular, o que versen sobre asuntos del orden temporal, de que ha conocido hasta ahora la autoridad eclesiástica, i también de las criminales que se sigan contra individuos de uno i otro clero, por los delitos espresados en el artículo 2°, se de ellos han conocido en primera instancia los jueces de circuito.
