Para obtener recompensa por acción distinguida de valor, debe probarse: 1.º La identidad del militar, si no murió al ejecutar el acto; 2.º El empleo y destino que tenía al tiempo de su ejecución y que esta se verificó en defensa del Gobierno legitimo; y 3.º La acción misma con los datos necesarios para su calificación, la fecha en que sucedió y el lugar o hecho de armas o cualquier otra circunstancia en que se ejecutara.
