º. Con las limitaciones que señala el artículo 30 del Decreto 1157 de 1940, el objeto principal del Instituto es prospectar y promover la fundación de nuevas empresas, colaborar en el establecimiento de las de iniciativa particular, y contribuir al desarrollo y reorganización de las ya existentes, bien sea en la forma de aportes del capital, mediante la garantía de las obligaciones contraídas por ellas, o en cualquiera otra forma.
